Slovácké wine subregion

The Slovácko wine sub-region is a very large area and thanks to this it has a variety of natural conditions, from the warm slopes in the south to our northernmost vineyards. Vineyards can be found in the Morava River valley, in the rugged hilly landscape of the White Carpathians or on the southern slopes of the Chřiby and Ždánický Forest. Müller Thurgau, Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Noir and Muscat of Moravia thrive here. Of the blue varieties, the Frankovka, Svatovavřinecké, Zweigeltrebe and the Cabernet Moravia variety bred in Moravská Nová Ves are particularly noteworthy.
