Wine cellars Lechovice, spol. s r.o.

In the vineyards, which lie in the cadastre of the wine-growing villages of Lechovice, Božice, Borotice and Oleksovice, mainly white aromatic wines thrive. Among the flagships of the winery are the varieties Riesling, Pálava, Tramín Red and Sauvignon, as evidenced by numerous awards from international competitions. Wine Cellars Lechovice can be proud of the fact that they process all grapes from their own production in their own facility. The production area and sales warehouse are located in the village of Borotice, 3 km away. Since 2011, the company has been certified according to ISO 22000, which guarantees a higher standard in food production and food safety, and traditionally holds the Integrated Grape and Wine Production certificate.

Specialties in the menu

Sekt Vranov - a sparkling wine stored at the bottom of the Vranov dam, traditionally made from Sauvignon or Chardonnay for a year's maturation below the surface. The coupling of the sparkling wine is therefore the same as for the regular Lechovice sparkling wine. The uniqueness of the sparkling wine is due to its maturation at a depth of 40m, stable temperature and pressure. For the first time, the sparkling wine was immersed in 2000 on the occasion of the 900th anniversary of the founding of Vranov nad Dyjí and since its inception a large part of the proceeds from the sale of these sparklers has been donated to the Paraple Auerův Kříž Centre - the wine was produced using a special technology of processing blue Frankovka grapes from the vineyard near Auer's Cross Ice Straw Wine - produced traditionally and repeatedly at the top of international competitions Vegan Wine - in 2019 we fulfilled the conditions for the V-Label certificate
