Obelisk Winery was established in 2016 and is housed in a modern building in the middle of the vineyards. No herbicides are used in the vineyards and the grapes are harvested mainly by hand. The wines are made using modern technology but traditional methods without embellishments and are also suitable for vegans. The wines are aged in stainless steel tanks as well as in wooden barrels and amphorae made from clay extracted during the construction of the winery. The winery is dedicated to high gastronomy, gala tastings, weddings, corporate parties and concerts.

Establishment
The wines from Obelisk Winery are characterized by the so-called wine postmodernity. The cellar master devotes sufficient space for their own specific development with the limitation of unnatural interventions into their character. The winery owner sees potential in the use of traditional old practices assisted by the latest technology, thus achieving originality and preserving the uniqueness of the terroir. The grapes of the Valtice winery are grown within three kilometres of its premises and are harvested exclusively by hand.

The Obelisk winery takes advantage of the potential of the old vineyards, which is also reflected in the species composition of the vineyards, where typically domestic varieties are complemented by international ones. The neglected Sylvan Green or Riesling and Pálava can be found here. Then there is Riesling, which is characterised by quality wines with a spicy acidity and excellent ageing potential. The four main white varieties are complemented by Franconia and the Burgundian varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir and Pinot Noir. In the future, the owners of the winery also count on Mlynářka.
